Specify appointment communication, hospital navigation, registration, consultation interpretation, report translation and transport. Confirm the provider, separate charges and coverage for each task.
Confirm the language and setting
State your main language, dialect needs and department. Ask about relevant experience, confidentiality and support for complex discussions. A translated webpage does not establish interpreter availability.
Keep originals with translations
Retain original reports with translated copies. Ask the clinician to confirm key instructions; a companion does not make clinical decisions. Agree overtime, cancellation and rescheduling terms.
